塞纳河上架着的桥，据说共有36座，每座桥的造型都有特点，而其中最壮观最金碧辉煌的是亚历山大三世桥了。这座桥以其独一无二的钢结构桥拱，将香榭丽舍大街和荣军院广场连接起来。建此桥为庆祝俄国与法国的结盟。大桥两端四只桥头柱上镀金的雕像，由长着翅膀的小爱神托着，它的华丽造型和色彩在巴黎特别显眼。
巴黎最古老的桥有三座：玛力桥、王桥和新桥。这三座桥都是17世纪前建的，距今300多年了。
